I am the trustee and operator of the Bakken Amateur Radio Society repeater, W0MDT located at the Medtronic CRDM complex in Mounds View, MN. See: http://www.w0mdt.com The repeater is running both FM (114.8PL) and Yaesu Fusion on 444.525. Please check in with us if you’re in the area!

We’re placing a big emphasis on Yaesu Fusion. Be sure to check out the Fusion page. The Fusion Help section is growing and hopefully will have good information that will be useful for Fusion operators.

The K9EQ repeater is at the same location on 444.075. This repeater runs either FM (023N DCS) and Icom IDAS. It is able to talk to the world on IRLP (8263).

I also operate http://www.hamoperator.com which is intended to provide some targeted resources for the HamOperator.

I’m located in Ham Lake, Minnesota. I’m mostly on V/UHF, but will make appearances from time to time on HF. Naturally I can usually be found on 444.075 and 444.525.

My 10-10 number is 40105 and I’m happy to QSL by whatever means you ay prefer.

We sometimes need rules. Sometimes we don’t. Well, here are K9EQ’s Amateur Radio Rules. You have to decide if we need then or not.

P.S. The photo was taken from Santa Ynez peak near Santa Barbara California. The picture was taken from 4,200’ looking West near sunset. It was taken around 1976.
